I have shared a lot of our Disneyland/world experience's and videos with you all on my Instagram in the last 16 months, and I have had a lot of you ask if It's truly worth It to take a baby or toddler under 2. A lot of you have mentioned that you don't think it's worth it because your baby/toddler won't remember It, and I totally understand where you are coming from! But, I would also have to say, even if they don't remember, YOU will. Some of mine and Gabe's sweetest memories and moments together have been with Harper in the happiest/most magical place on earth.

Five months old...

When Harper was five months old, we took her to Disneyland with our family and it was the BEST experience. Harper was at the perfect age to engage and soak in with what was going on around her, but also the perfect age to take naps in the park and be more relaxed/lowkey, as she wasn't very active yet. This age is SO perfect for traveling/flying/hotels/etc. Harper did an amazing job on this trip, 10/10. There were several rides that she could go on with us as an infant, but I will say I think they were a little overstimulating for her. Gabe and I had our family with us (which is KEY lol), so Gabe and I were still able to enjoy our time in the park! Overall, I would say this is the easiest age to travel with, and take to the park(s), as they are pretty low maintenance at this age! And I know she definitely won't remember this trip, but we made the sweetest memories with her on this trip. I can't wait for her to look back on these photos/videos someday!

Eleven months old...

We took Harper to DisneyWorld when she was 11 months old, this trip was SO much fun because she was able to interact with everything going on around her, and she had just started walking, so she was able to get her energy out in the park! She did an amazing job sleeping in her stroller in the park. We went with family again on this trip, so while she napped in the stroller, we went on several rides! This trip was the best because I truly believe this is when she began to develop her love for all Disney characters. She was so excited to meet all of the characters, and LOVED all of the shows! We took her to the Lion King show in Animal Kingdom and she danced the whole time! She also loved the Junior Dance Party in Hollywood Studios, as well as the Frozen Sing-Along in Hollywood Studios. I would highly recommend taking your one year old on this trip! The flight with her wasn't too bad, at eleven months, she was not extremely active yet, and easily distracted on the plane. She also slept a lot on the flight too, which was amazing.

Fifteen months old...

We took Harper back to DisneyWorld at 15 months, and this was BY FAR the best experience we have ever had with her in the parks. She was fully walking/running at this point, and had the BEST interactions with all of the characters in the park. She truly came to life in every park. She had even more fun at the shows, she danced and tried to sing to every song the entire time! She started to say the names of every character she met, which was so precious. We were able to take her on a lot more rides this time, and she fully enjoyed each and every one of them! There were several rides that kind of scared her, like Winnie The Pooh (if you've been on this one, you know It's kind of creepy even as an adult haha), and she didn't care for Peter Pan (this one is really dark and I think that scared her). But overall, I would say that the shows and music were by far her FAVORITE. She kept asking for more! It was so precious. We were able to share a Mickey Bar and several other treats with her this time around too, which was so fun. I will say, the older your kids get, the more interaction and joy you see in their eyes. But also, I think that introducing Harper to Disneyworld/land at such a young age has allowed her to connect more with the magic of Disney every time she goes back. At such a young age (now 16 months), she completely lights up whenever she see's the characters in a movie, or on TV at home, yelling their name with a smile on her face, and that is truly so precious and means the world to me, as a Disney lover myself. HIGHLY recommend taking a toddler under 2 to both Disneyworld/land. They are at the perfect age to grasp the concept of what is going on around them. And again, maybe she won'y fully remember this trip, but we forever will.

Fifteen months old... Disney cruise...

We also took her on a Disney Cruise on this trip as well! This cruise was SO much fun. She did AMAZING and had SO much fun. All of the characters were on the cruise, and she lit up every single time she saw them all week long. The shows were also so amazing and perfect for a toddler under 2. Harper loved the shows, anything with singing and dancing makes her so happy! The cruise was so fun and busy, yet so relaxing and a breath of fresh air. It was so nice having a nice and cozy room to go back to in between activities. She loved all of the water and pool activities the ship had to offer, and of course so many great treat and food options for a toddler! We stopped at the Bahamas twice, and she was able to swim and play in the ocean, on the beach, and she had the best time. We all did! I highly recommend a Disney cruise to anyone with younger kids! We did not end up doing this because we had the help of grandparents, but there was an option to check your kids into the nursery so you could enjoy some time to yourself! This did come with a cost, but if you were not traveling with family like we were, this would be the perfect option to get some alone time. We walked around the nursery and it was UNREAL. 10/10 experience with our 15 month old! Couldn't recommend more.
